Faith Verse January 17-31

The next few faith verses will be structured this way:

• Who God Is–gracious.  Psalm 145.8-9 (Jan 17-31)
• What He has done for us–forgiven us.  Colossians 2.13-14 (Feb 1-13)
• What we are to do–forgive others.  Colossians 3.12-13 (Feb 14-28)

This month we want to meditate on the character of our God toward us, which he has most effectively demonstrated in the sending of his Son for us.  We can, therefore, be confident that all of these attributes of him towards us are trustworthy because of the redemption we have in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 145.8-9

The LORD is  gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. 9 The LORD is  good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.
